Obituary of Leigh Currie

Passed away peacefully on February 24, 2023 at the age of 78. He is survived by brother Wendell Currie (Linda), and sister Linda Ross (Billy), Tim, Wayne, Kirk, Shay (Jamie) and Janice. Predeceased by his parents Alma and George Currie, and his sister Sue Cake (2023). Leigh will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. He retired from over 33 years at Chryslers, loved spending time with his dogs and walking in the bushes. He loved his tractor and cut his neighbours grass just to use it. He liked talking about the most powerful engine Chrysler would come out with, the last one he had discussed was the new El Diablo Engine Chrysler was building.

Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E 519-253-7234 on Friday, March 3, 2023 from 11am until the Time of Service in the Chapel at 11:30am. Interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial Donations may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society, ABWE Canada or Downtown Windsor Community Collaborative.
