HAMILTON, Marilyn (Marlyn) Margaret (nee Shaw)

November 1, 1938 - February 15, 2023

Passed peacefully in her sleep. Cherished grandmother to Madeline Hamilton. Beloved mother-in-law to Lois. Dear friend and cousin to David Groff. Sister-in-law to Irene (late Brian) and Kit Hamilton (Pat). Predeceased by her wonderful son, Mark Hamilton (2018) and her parents Robert and Margaret Shaw. She will be sadly missed by her many extended family and friends.

She enjoyed her long-time career as a teacher with the Windsor Board of Education, with most of her career at Tecumseh Victoria Public teaching K-8 where she met many life-long friends.

Marlyn developed her life-long friends attending elementary and high school in Riverside. She was still in close contact with many of them, proving her loyalty and love for her friends.

Marlyn cherished 5 wonderful years traveling to sunny destinations with her loving family to share fond memories together.

Cremation and Inurnment have taken place. A Celebration of Life Reception to be held at Windsor Chapel (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234, on Thursday, February 23, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. A Celebration of Life Service to be held in the reception lounge at 12:30 p.m.
