Obituary of Elizabeth Radu

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Elizabeth Radu (nee Maxim) at the age of 103, on February 16, 2023. Predeceased by husband Peter and daughter Lana Montague. Loving mother of Georgia Howling, Vicki Young (Jack), Mike Radu (Anita), and Diane Brand. Cherished grandmother of Mike (Susan), Rob (Ashley), Justin, Jacqueline (Dale), Courtenay (Steve), Brandon, Channing (Jordan), Jenn (Dan), Stephanie (Jose), Melissa (Wesley), and Michael. Also survived by 14 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by 4 brothers and 1 sister. Thank you to the wonderful staff of Chateau Park for the loving care given to our Mom. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519.253.7234, on Monday, Feb 20, 2023 from 7 pm – 9 pm. Funeral service will be held at St. George’s Romanian Orthodox Cathedral, 1960 Tecumseh Rd. E., at 11 am on Tuesday, Feb 21, 2023.
