Mother-In-Laws, what can you say? My Mother-In-Law, Oogie, was as loving and 'close' to being my Mom as she could possibly be; and there can be no greater compliment and praise than that !! Moreover, everpresent was her concern for my well-being ( eg., every phone call home, "how's Paul" ), hostess extraordinaire ( eg., my morning coffee was always made ready-to-go before she bedded down ), lavishly generous with her time and thoughtfulness before driving to Ottawa to deliver the much awaited next delivery of cinnamon buns, cookies, city chicken, sausage rolls, carrot cake, etc. etc.. If her goal was to be the best mother-in-law she could be, she "nailed it" Just One more hug would have been nice... Love you Oogie. God bless.
