Obituary of Ivy Ronholm

RONHOLM, Ivy , Passed away peacefully on February 17, 2021 at WRH-Met Campus at the age of 95. Predeceased by her husband Elias “Jake” (2009). Loving mother of Linda Mepham (Brian) and Ron Ronholm (Linda). Cherished Nana of Christine (Gordie), Dan (Lindsay), Joe (Christi), Ryan (Carrie), Eric (Jessica) and great nana of Ethan, Meghan, Victoria, Vanian, Alexis and Baby Ronholm due in July. Predeceased by her siblings Lily, Claude and Stella. Ivy is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. A special thank you to Dr. Gibb, Dr. Summerfield and the doctors and nursing staff on the 4th floor at Met Hospital for their care and compassion. In their retirement, Ivy and Jake could be found relaxing at their cottage in Northern Ontario. She loved cooking and knitting, but her most favourite job was Nana to her beautiful grandchildren. Visiting at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Road East, 519-253-7234 on Sunday, February 21, 2021 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Monday, February 22, 2021 at 11 a.m. Private interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Please note: Masks must be worn while in the funeral home and reservations are required to attend the visiting and service.
