Obituary of Maria Politi

Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on February 4, 2023 at the age of 75 years.Loving wife of Frank and cherished mother of Nick (Palmi) and Joe (Cinzia) Politi. Adored Nonna “Mia” of Ava, Nicole, Ella, Mia, and Neve. Cherished daughter of the late Nicola and Nicoletta Ieropoli. Beloved sister of Caterina Ieropoli of Calabria, Italy. Dear daughter-in-law of the late Nicola and Maria Nicoletta Politi. A caring sister-in-law of Pasqualina Franco of Italy, the late Vincenzo and Josephine, Antonietta and Gaspare Fallea, Maria and Mario Caruana, the late Philip Politi, Domenic and Julie Politi, Nick and Virginia Politi. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy.

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3048 Dougall Ave. on Monday February 6, 2023, from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. Parish Prayers at 3:30pm. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Tuesday February 7 from 9:30 a.m. with a procession to St. Angela Merici Church (980 Louis Ave.) for the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Society of Windsor-Essex County.
