DUFOUR-Margaret Marie (Nee Thibert)
1928-2023
It is with heavy hearts we had to say good-bye to our loving mother, Margaret Dufour on January 29, 2023. Loved meme to many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her first husband Norman Gagnier and second husband Sam Dufour. She will be missed by her children Claudette (Mike) Lanoue, Doris (Gary) Denomme, and Reg (Marj) Gagnier. Extended family Colleen & Steve Campo, Janet Morris (late Richard), Eugene Dufour, Mary Dufour, Karen & Leo Demarce and all their families. Predeceased by brothers Noel & Lillian Thibert, Maurice Thibert, Roland Thibert, and sisters Pauline & Raymond Charlebois, Bernadette & Johnny Soulliere, Alice & Francis Dufault, Agnes & Ward Hunter. Dear Sister-in-law of Joy Thibert, Gloria Thibert, Gerry & Nancy Gagnier and Pauline Gagnier. She started her career at a young age of 14 as a hairdresser and went on to work for GM Trim where she retired. She enjoyed sewing, quilting , euchre and many other crafts. Most of all she loved being with family her grandchildren and friends.
Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd E on Friday February 3, 2023 from 2 to 5pm & 7 to 9pm. Prayers Friday at 4:30pm. Visitation will continue on Saturday February 4, 2023 at St John Vianney Church 385 Dieppe Street from 10am until time of funeral mass at 11:00am. Interment to follow at St. Anne Cemetery. As your expression of sympathy donations may be made to Kidney Foundation of Canada or to Autism Windsor/Essex.
