Passed away peacefully with family by her side on January 26, 2023 at the age of 97. Reunited with husband Sante Facca. Beloved mother to Gino (Patricia). Favourite nonna to Dean and forever loved by furry friend Bosco. Cherished mother-in-law to Paola Morassut (2013). Matilde will be dearly missed by step-children Anna, Licia, Regina, and Dino. Beloved step-nonna to Eugene, Loretta, Ren, Angela, Robert, Julia, Donato, Anthony, Claudia, Robert, Ricky, Dina, Guy and Veronica. Remembered by siblings Adelia, Antonietta, Osualdo, Irma and Ermenio and Angelina. Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd E. (519) 253-7234 on Monday, January 30, 2023 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. Parish prayers at 7:30pm. Visitation to follow on Tuesday, at 9:30am with a procession to St. Angela Merici church. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Angela Merici Church on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at 11am.
