Obituary of Katharina Karpenko

Karpenko (Wyslkowska), Katarzyna "Katharina"
Born on April 28, 1924, Katharina passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 22, 2023 at the age of 98.
Katharina was born in Poland of Ukrainian decent and she immigrated from Germany following the war to Canada in 1948.
She is predeceased by her loving husband the late Eugeniusz "Eugene" (1994).
Adored mother of the late Alexander (2020) and grandson Alex (2003).  Survived by her daughter-in-law Christina.
Doting Baba of 2 grandchildren, Cameron (Margaret) and Marie (Shannon), and 4 great-grandchildren Tyler, Sarah, Lucas and Liam.  
She was a faithful member of St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

Funeral Visitation at Windsor Chapel, Central Chapel, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East Windsor, on Thursday, January 26th from 5-9 pm. Panakhyda at 7:30 pm on Thursday.  Funeral Service in the chapel on Friday, January 27th at 10 am with Fr. Walter Makarenko officiating.
Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
