Obituary of Mark Locknick

Mark Locknick passed peacefully at his home at Chartwell Royal Oak LTC on Monday, January 9, 2023, at the age of 64 years. Reunited his parents Wilfred J “Butch” (1998) and Patricia P (nee Sommerville) (2005). He shared wonderful memories with staff from his life with his parents and was influenced by many teachers who provided him with support, including Richard Nantais and John Staley. Mark will be remembered for his sense of humor and fist pumps. Mark developed relationships with members of the Essex Act Team including his friend Liz C in the 20 years he was supported by the team. He enjoyed the simple things in life; coca cola, chocolate milk and tomato juice! Mark developed a rapport with the staff and fondly created nicknames for many team members "Head Nurse", "Chanel", "Lady with the Shiny Shoes". Friends are invited to attend his Committal Service on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at 1:30pm at St. Anne's Cemetery (1120 Lesperance Rd., Tecumseh)
