Obituary of Gilberte Jean O'Keefe (nee Côté)

Passed away peacefully on January 25, 2020 at the age of 92. Beloved wife and best friend of Arthur for 70 years. Loving mother of Daniel (Rose) O’Keefe of Windsor and Catherine O’Keefe of Toronto. Proud Grandma of Jayson of Windsor and Mallory (Ryan Dean) of Ottawa. Proud great-grandma of Penelope. Caring sister of Mariette Broderick, Lizette Filiatrault and predeceased by her siblings Fern, Don, Matthew, Charlotte and Raymond. Gilberte will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and godchildren. No words can express our gratitude towards the staff at The Village at St. Clair for the exceptional care and compassion shown towards Gilberte during her 5 year stay. As per Gilberte’s request, cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to WINDSOR CHAPEL (central chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234.
