QUINN, Theresa (nee St. Pierre)
January 8, 1931 - December 14, 2022
Surrendered her soul to Jesus Christ at 91 years, at Villages of Aspen Lake. Loving wife of 64 years to Michael C. Quinn (2017). Dear mother of Larry (Diane), Marie-Anne Scarpelli (Chuck), Yvonne Quinn-Chittle, Carmelle Quinn, Michael of Trois-Rivieres, Tom (Deanna Gerard) of North Bay, Bill of Ottawa and Julie Fortin (Dave). Proud Meme to 18 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Survived by sister Julie-Anne Poisson (Dr. Tom Poisson) and Jeannine St. Pierre (late Maurice). Predeceased by parents William and Charlotte (nee Renaud) St. Pierre and by siblings Drs. Yvonne Farina (Peter) of Florida, Maurice, Adrien (Annette), Gerard “Whitey” (Marguerite), William “Willard” (Simone) and Marie-Jeanne. Theresa was a piano teacher and church organist in her youth and taught Billings Natural Family Planning at Hotel Dieu Hospital for many years. She was an active member of St. Anne’s Parish in Tecumseh as a Eucharistic adorer and a founding member of the St. Anne Third Order Franciscan Fraternity. The family extends its thanks to the staff of Villages of Aspen Lake for their care. Visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Tuesday, December 20, from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Catholic Women's League prayers at 3 p.m. and Franciscan prayer service at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place at St. Anne’s Parish (12233 Tecumseh Rd. E.) on Wednesday, December 21 at 10:30 a.m. with visitation at church one hour prior. Interment will take place at St. Anne’s Cemetery. In Theresa’s memory, donations may be made to the St. Anne Third Order Franciscan Fraternity or Mass offerings for the repose of her soul.
