TINUS, Maria (nee Pekar)

Passed away peacefully at 96 years of age on December 10, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Frederick (1973). Cherished Mother of Anton (JoAnne), Fred (the late Denise) and Hildegard Ashe-Payne (Lance). Predeceased by sons Paul (2021) and John (2003). Beloved grandmother of many. Maria emigrated from the former Yugoslavia in 1955 and worked as an office cleaner until she was 70 years old. She was a devoted mother and loving wife and will be sadly missed by all those whose lives she has touched.

Visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 12:00 noon. Private Interment to follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Maria’s memory may be made to the charity of choice.
