Obituary of Joan Ilene Fisher

It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Joan Ilene Fisher (Ciliska) on December 5, 2022 at the young age of 69. Beloved wife and best friend to Mel. Loving mother to Dennis Fisher (2016) and Denise Fisher-Sauve. Doting Grandma to Teri (Jamie), Jack, Dale, Josie and Bree. Great Grandma to Dez and Bexley MacCrow. Dear sister to Bob (Sue) Ciliska and Carol Tennant. Predeceased by parents Charlie (2022) and Thelma (Philips, 2012). Cherished Aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Joan will be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, neighbours and her life long group of best friends. Joanie had a heart of gold, loved her family beyond measure and would do anything for anyone. Those that were lucky enough to know her knew her love of sweets, ice cream and Vernors Floats.

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel - Banwell Chapel (11677 Tecumseh Rd E, 519-253-7234) on Friday, December 9, 2022 from 2-5pm and 7-9pm. A burial service will be held on Monday December 12, 2022 at Holy Redeemer Cemetery (538 County Rd 8) at 11am.
