Obituary of Marica Rudman

Marica Rudman born in Dvorisce, Croatia in 1940, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2022, in the presence of her beloved family at Windsor Regional Hospital where she retired from after 20+ years. Marica was married to her loving husband Tony for 62 years. Beloved mother of Davor (Cathy), and Bernard. Cherished Baba of Dillon, Rachel, and Carter. Survived by sister Dragica Rocnik (Late Frank). Reunited in heaven with parents Ivan and Kata Gustin. Predeceased by siblings Mika, Jana Pulez, Mirko, Ivan, and Barica Starcevic. Marica will be missed by many family members. Marica came to Canada in 1970 and she will always be remembered for her love of baking especially her Palacinke and Knedle. As well as the endless love for her family, and her caring and nurturing attitude toward all. A special thank you to all the Nurses and Doctors who took care of Marica during her time at Windsor Regional Hospital – Met Campus. A visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central) on Tuesday December 6, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Funeral Prayers will take place in the chapel at 8pm. A private family and invited friends Funeral Mass will take place at St. Francis of Assisi Church (1701 Turner Rd.) on Wednesday December 7, 2022 at 10 a.m, followed by entombment at Windsor Memorial Gardens.
