I am very saddened to learn that my good old friend Rick Marion passed away this past February. We bowled together at the Bowlero and with the Sunday Traveling Classic League back in the early to mid 1990's, and he was one of the best guys I ever bowled with. Truly a decent, gentle soul with a great spirit and loads of fun to be around. I still can't believe he's gone; I regrettably lost touch with him in recent years, but I think about him often, and all the clowning around we used to do. Rest in peace Rick, you were one of the good ones; and I will see you again one day!

To Richard's family & friends,
I was both shocked and saddened to learn of Richard's passing. Rick and I were classmates at St. Francis Elementary School and what I remember is his kindness & sweetness as well as our mutual love of bowling! I wish that I had been able to know him as an adult as well.
Mom Marion, I remember when you lost Richard's father and I have thought of you many times over the years. To lose a son also is I'm sure, a heartache beyond measure.
To Amy & the boys, the are no words that would ever be enough to convey my condolences. We may not have ever met, but I want you to know how truly sorry I am for this life changing loss. I hope that in time, you will all find some Peace and Comfort in your memories. ♡

I first met Rick many years ago when I was in grade school visiting his brother Scott. I thought, wow, what a cool big brother you have Scott. He always had these amazing RC cars and was happy to show you how they worked. Rick was always so kind to me, I'll never forget him.

Dear Amy and family. I am deeply saddened to hear of Richard’s passing into our Lord’s arms. During my time as Youth Minister at St John Vianney I had such great moments and memories of you and Richard and the children. I recall Richard offering to do an evening under the stars for the youth and families. It was evident how much Richard loved you and his family. I share in your sadness and will keep you all in my prayers. It is only in the dark that we can see the light... Such hugs and prayers. Lynne Tibor

We first met Rick when our sons played sports together. Rick was warm, welcoming and clicked with my husband right away, we joked that a bromance developed. Rick text my husband at Christmas wishing us merry Christmas and inviting him for a beer when we can gather again. The worlds a little less fun because that beverage won’t be shared, who knows the mischief that could have come from it. Our condolences to Amy, Eric and Adam. May his star be one of the brightest that shine and the many wonderful memories forever be told Jennifer and Kurtis Mills

I have been a silent beneficiary of the astrophotography group that Rick formed. It is surprising how our lives are affected by people we don't even know. Its never too late to thank someone. Thanks Rick for helping people get on with their astrophotography hobby. We know you are among the stars we photograph now.

We will remember Rick as caring father and husband. He was always outside playing with the boys racing their cars down the street. At Halloween he had the best display in the whole east side. Our daughter made it up to the door a few times for her candy the other times he would come out and bring it to her. What a wonderful neighbour and great person Rick was. You will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers for Amy, Eric and Adam Love The Hiuser Family, Chris, Gloria, Alyssa, and Jillian

We have some very cherished memories with Rick and Amy. A few years ago they helped us celebrate our wedding weekend. We spent the night together at a beautiful lake house. In the evening we had a bonfire while enjoying their company. Rick took pictures of the Milky Way, we laughed, had good conversation and good food. The next day Rick was Doug's best man. He also shared his love of RC Racing with Doug, Eric and Adam. Rick will be deeply missed but will be forever in our hearts. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Amy and the boys during this time of deep sorrow. Love, Doug and Carol Verbridge
