Obituary of William Bruce Anger
ANGER, William Bruce
Passed away peacefully at the age of 87 on November 23, 2022. Beloved husband of Marion for 66 years. Born on July 13, 1935 to Alex (1972) and Doreen (1983) Anger. Loving father to Deborah Harrison (Mark) and Susan Anger (William). Brother to Norma (2022), Harold (2005), Donald (1939), Ruth Anne, Roy, Robert, Gail (2013) and Frank (2014). Cherished grandpa of Kate, Matt, Katrina, Kregg and Kendall.
As a young man you worked on cars with your father. Eventually, you became a Tool and Die guy and also worked on repairing TV’s and radio’s with your friend Nick. Your dad had a workshop in your basement which allowed you to spend time with him. You were an old school guy who took pride in repairing things around your home. You loved hockey and were proud of the fact that you played pick up hockey until you were 70 years old. Your favourite team was the Detroit Red Wings. But we all know your greatest joy was spending time with and taking care of your family. Although you were a quiet man by nature, we all know how very much you loved us from all of the time you spent with us and all of the things you did for us. I hope that during your last days, you felt we took as good care of you as you took of us. You will live in our hearts forever. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. McLeod, Dr. Laing, Dr. Raphael Cheung, Dr. Amit Patel, Dr. Malette and Dr. Biswas for your excellent care of dad during the last few years that he struggled with health issues. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses, psw’s, kitchen, administrative and environmental staff of Banwell Gardens Care Home who lovingly took care of William. We are also touched by the residents and staff who befriended William during his stay at Banwell Gardens Care Home. If so desired, you can make a donation to the Alzheimer’s Society in memory of William.
