Our sincere condolences to the entire Bonanno family for your loss of your dear husband , father and nonno. Your father was a dear friend to our father(Anthony), and though we shared the same last name they were not related. They often joked that they were cousins. Your dad visited our dad often always bringing a bottle of his homemade wine to share with our boys. We remember him fondly. May he rest in peace.

Our condolences to the whole Bonanno family.
I grew up across the street from the family and was friends with the his daughters. I always remember Sam keeping his lawn and property immaculate. He even washed his driveway occasionally. Even into his later years he was still cutting his own grass and shoveling snow. He is a great inspiration to all that age is just a number. He was a great neighbour, and always sent his best wishes at Christmas and sometimes a bottle of home made wine. Which we all enjoyed.
There are not many left of the original owners on Sumach Cres. and he will be remembered as one of the great ones.
Heaven has welcomed a great man!
Love, Lisa Reynolds and the rest of the Deneau family.

Lisa, thanks so much for your kind words you were spot on about his cleanliness of his property! We have many fond memories of growing up on Sumach. Even though we have lost some key neighbors it's comforting to know our Moms are still surrounded by good people.
Please Thank your Brother Rob for the beautiful card he left us, My Dad would always ask for him if he needed it and we greatly appreciate this .

No matter how many years go by, how far away you move, or how many people you meet, you always remember those that helped you along the way. The simple smile, the wave hello, checking up on a young Alter Server at St Angela, helping with special occasions at church, you don't forget that stuff. As young adults, walking with your little kids holding your hands, he always took interest - especially with the little ones. Most recently, the last time I saw him, I got to give him a hug, after our conversation - he was always ready to help without question. The old neighborhood lost a great man, while Heaven definitely gained a gentle soul. Mrs Bonanno, Enza, Anna, Rosetta, your families - he may rest in peace, but his legacy will live on. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. JOE LIVIERO and Family.

Thanks Joe for your kind words we greatly appreciate it!! Its nice to know that he had an impact on so many people as we heard it many times during the last few weeks. He was so happy to see you this summer, and chat with you. He loved talking to people and always would tell us when he would run into people. It was nice to see your parents at the Funeral Home, we appreciate the support during this difficult time.
