Obituary of Mirko Adamovic

ADAMOVIC, Mirko Passed away suddenly on November 18th, 2022 at the age of 43. Beloved son to Djuro and Milica Adamovic. Cherished brother to Mirjana (Jim) and Alex (Tanya). Uncle to Mirella, Massimo and Kosta. Loving Fiancé and bestfriend to Jennifer. Godchild to Marko and Branka Relic. He will be missed by many extended family in Canada, Serbia, USA, Macedonia and Montenegro. Mirko will be missed by many friends and anyone whose lives he’s touched. Born to incredible parents Djuro and Milica who immigrated to Canada, Mirko was raised a well-rounded man. He learned how to cook by watching his mother in the kitchen. In turn he became an incredible chef, there wasn’t a meal he made that didn’t taste remarkable. He learned to fish at the hand of his father. Fishing together was a special bond they had and they were able to make beautiful memories doing so. He would show love to his older sister Mirjana in true Mirko fashion. Cracking jokes and poking fun at her. Being only 15 months apart from his younger brother Alex they will forever share an eternal brother’s bond. From sharing a bedroom at the Dormar house to later jet skiing at the Riverside Dr house. Mirko enjoyed playful times with his niece and two nephews. Because Mirko was so tall, when he picked up the kids and tossed them in the air they felt as if they were kicking the sky. Mirko enjoyed the simplicity that life had to offer. He found great comfort in the time spent with his Fiancé Jennifer watching the Leafs and the Lions play. In a world full of chaos, he chose to live a life that made him happy. He will be cherished and remembered for always making people laugh, cracking jokes, his huge smile and most notably a heart bigger than himself. He was a great man who persevered every day. Mirko’s legacy will always be remembered this way. Many thanks to the nurses, doctors and emergency room staff at Windsor Regional Hospital- Metropolitan campus. Visitation to take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel), 11677 Tecumseh Rd E, 519-253-7234 on Wednesday November 23rd from 3:00-5:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm. Prayers at 8:00pm. Funeral service to take place at Gracanica Serbian Orthodox Church (1960 Meldrum) on Thursday November 24th at 11:00am. Burial to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens (1100 Division Rd).
