Obituary of Daniel Logan
Logan, Daniel Keith
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Daniel, a loving father and proud grandfather, on November 5th, 2022, at the age of 70. Loving father to Michael (Mike) Logan (Mhai Benitez), Sylvie Logan (Alexis Mato Fernandez) and Sean Logan (Jacklyn Logan). Proud and devoted grandfather to Dustin Logan, Violet Mato-Logan, Eloise Mato-Logan and Maxim (Max) Mato-Logan (who will be born any day but was already so loved by grandpa). Survived by his brothers, Larry (Doris) and Derek Logan, sister, Denise Brown (Dennis) and many nephews and nieces. Predeceased by his brother, Wayne Logan (Ruth), father, Lawrence Ralph Logan (known as Ralph) and mother, Helen Logan. Although Daniel was divorced, he maintained a very close and special friendship with Sonia Lamarche. Daniel was also a friend to many. One of his favorite things was to strike up a conversation with whoever was willing to stay a moment, and he had a special way of forming real connections quickly because he genuinely cared about every conversation he held with others (family, friend or complete stranger) and had an incredible way of focusing every ounce of his attention to the present moment. Daniel beamed with pride for his children, their spouses and his cherished grand-children. He lived for his family and always looked forward to spending time with those who meant everything to him.
Daniel enjoyed the simple things as well as human connection, and his family will honor this as they celebrate his life with a private ceremony and vigil on the beach, followed by an opportunity for all to visit and pay their respects/share a memory. The visitation/walkthrough will take place at Sean and Jacklyn’s home and details for those interested can be obtained through his children: Sean (519) 984-3096 and Sylvie (519) 890-8173.
