Obituary of Douglas Dillon

DILLON, Douglas, Passed away peacefully on October 28, 2022 at the age of 82. Predeceased by his parents Fergus and Elizabeth Dillon and his mother and father in-law Mary and Joseph Kayfez. Beloved husband of Myra (nee Kayfez) for 60 loving years. Loving father of Debbie Dillon and Mike Dillon (Gina). Cherished grandfather of Elizabeth and Lucas Dillon. Dear brother of Diane Dillon and the late Donna Trepanier. Dear brother in-law of Jennie Petrlich (the late Frank). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Doug is predeceased by his beloved childhood friend of 75 years Gerry Rau. A special thank you to the WRH-Ouellette Campus ICU and 6^th floor nurses, doctors and all staff for your exceptional care and support. Doug was a loyal and hardworking employee with Chrysler’s for over 30 years. He was a member of the Gourmet Club and in his spare time he enjoyed playing baseball and golf. He will be missed by his furry friends Bo and Lukie and “many” others waiting for him over the Rainbow Bridge.
