RICHIE-Helen "Jon" Magdeline  (nee Johnson)

October 16, 1927 - October 23, 2022

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our dear friend Helen "Jon" Richie on October 23, 2022 at the age of 95. Helen was the beloved wife of Martin Richie (1992). Daughter of the late Gordon Johnson & Nora McGee. Sister of the late Paul Johnson. Dear aunt of Lorri, Bill and late Danny Johnson. Helen was a classy and sophisticated lady, committed to service in her community. She was active with the Holy Name of Mary Church choir and St. Anne’s Church choir as well as the CWL. She was a fervent volunteer and supporter of the Windsor Symphony Guild since 1979. In her later years Helen took up painting and many of her paintings grace the walls of her friends' homes.

In lieu of flowers, if so desired donations may be made to St. Anne’s Church Restoration or the WSO Guild.

Visitation, Friday, October 28 at St.Anne’s Church, Tecumseh from 11:30am to 12:30pm, funeral mass 12:30pm followed by Entombment  at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
