Alicia loved singing, teaching and was very tech-savvy. She attended Zoom choir practices/meetings and maintained her own Facebook account. She was overjoyed when she travelled to the Holy Land several years ago. She was very kind-hearted, loving, and generous not only to help her family and friends but also anyone needing help. She was an active choir member of the Most Precious Blood Parish and a member of the Catholic Women’s League (CWL). She was also Mrs. FILGA (Filipino Golden Agers) of Windsor in 2011. Alicia is survived by her sisters: Emma Dris, Conchita Manahan, Amor Bercasio and Thelma Ferriol all residing in the Philippines. Alicia is also survived by her eight (8) children: Jennifer (married to Virgilio), Leah (married to Kuljit), Dennis (married to Melanie), John Gamilla, Valente (married to Catherine), Roderick (married to Edelyn), Fayette (married to William) and Daryl (married to Marjorie). She raised her children to have good morals, values and instilled in them the importance of good education as she said it is the universal foundation for a comfortable and stable life. She has ten (10) grandchildren: Christian (married to Anna), Karmelo (married to Phuong), Gurjiwan, Paul, Rachna, Christopher, Ericka, Mark, Isabella and Joshua.
