Obituary of Matteo Muscedere

MUSCEDERE, Matteo Marino

September 14, 2012 - October 18, 2022

Passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, on October 18, 2022 at Children’s Hospital of Michigan at the age of 10 years. Beloved son of Angela and Enzo Muscedere. He will forever be missed by his loving brother Rocco. Survived by his loving Nonni Alterio and Eda Ferrone, and Annunziato (Nunzio) and Vanda Muscedere. Loving nephew to Silvano and Tricia Ferrone, Marzio and Mirna Muscedere, and Tina Muscedere. Cherished cousin to Aiden and Tessa Ferrone, and Maxim and Marcus Muscedere. Matteo will also be missed by his cat Spirit. Matteo enjoyed using his imagination in creating many designs with his treasured magnetic blocks. He was a part of the St. John Vianney Catholic School community where he was an avid learner and enjoyed going to school each and every day. He kept active by playing baseball and hockey within the Riverside community. Matteo was a kind, loving and gentle soul. He had a passion for food and enjoyed sharing a good meal with his family. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the many doctors and nurses who provided exceptional care and compassion to Matteo and our family. Matteo, you were taken from us too soon and will forever be our guardian angel. Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel (Banwell) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E., 519-253-7234 on Monday, October 24, 2022 from 2-5 and 7-9 pm. Family and friends are invited to join together at St. John Vianney Parish (385 Dieppe St.) on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 from 10:30 am until time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 am. Cremation to follow.
