Sauve, Theodore Henry Xavier
Passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at WRH - Met Campus at the age of 91.
Beloved husband for over 60 years to the late Licia (nee Bortolotti) (2021).
Loving father of Henry Sauve (Laurie) and Robert Sauve.
Cherished grandfather of Chelsea.
Predeceased by his parents Henry and Yvonne (Vaillancourt).
Dear brother of the late Doreen Wyatt (Jeff Wyatt and the late Clarence Dumochelle), the late Rita Deslaurier (and the late Jim) and Dennis Sauve (Carolyn).
Dear brother in law of the late Beppino Bortolotti (Anna) of Germany, Beppina Paron (late Ipolito) of Italy, the late Rosina.
Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Theodore was a faithful member of the parish and the K of C Council#9645 at Most Precious Blood. He retired after 42 years of service at GM Transmission Plant. Young Theodore was a pianist in various bands. Dad loved math and carpentry, helping build the family homes with his father. He enjoyed bowling. He held an amateur radio license since 1974, VE3HOS, building and operating much of his own equipment and he was a member of the Sun Parlour Radio Club (SPARC). He later took up crocheting and knitting, for others.
He was a dedicated husband and father, he will be remembered for that.
In Lieu of flowers Donations to Brentwood and the Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family.
Funeral Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East, 519-253-7234 on Thursday, October 6th from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm (Parish Prayers at 4:30 pm and K of C prayers at 7:30 pm). Visitation to continue after 9:30 am on Friday, October 7th at Most Precious Blood Church. Funeral Mass on Friday, October 7th at Most Precious Blood Church, Meldrum X Tecumseh Rd. East, at 10:30 am. Cremation to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
