Obituary of Melvin Antaya

Antaya, Melvin Joseph Passed away peacefully on Tuesday September 27th at Banwell Gardens at the age of 91. Beloved husband of Solange for over 36 years. Dear father of Ron (Janet), Linda Dudek (Michael), Cindy Lebert (David), Denise Rodd, Jeff and predeceased by the late Debbie. Dear step father of Michel St. Pierre (Lorna) and Daniel St. Pierre. Loving grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents George and Irmine. Cherished brother of Danny (Elaine) and predeceased by Gerald, Stan, Donald, Norm, Lawrence and Eileen Bourgeous. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Melvin retired from Chrysler after 40 plus years. He was a past member of the Knights of Columbus 3rd degree. He loved playing cards and played regularly at the Golden Age Club in Tecumseh. At Melvin's request direct cremation has taken place, with burial at Ste. Anne's Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Windsor Chapel, Banwell Chapel, 519-253-7234.
