Happy New Year Ry <3 Christmas and New Years weren't the same without you, nothing is. I miss you and how we all used to be and fit together everyday. I keep trying to do things how we used to and nothing feels right and my heart just hasn't caught up. It's so much easier to pretend you're away and this is just temporary, an off year, that things will go back to normal. That's not true though, somehow we have to find our new normal and it's so much harder than I ever realized it would be. We lost you but it feels like we lost us too. Everything is different and we're all changing and need to find a way to fit back together. I feel like we're grieving the loss of you and who we were as a family. Help us find our way. I love you so much Ry xoxo

I taught Ryan at Kennedy Collegiate 2002/2003, he was a wonderful studious young man. I am deeply sorry for your families loss. Ryan and my son Alex are the same age and were in many classes together. It was heartbreaking to read of his passing in the newspaper. I send my condolences to all his family and friends. Hold each other tight.
