GENDREAU, Roy

May 16, 1946 - September 21, 2022

Passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side at 76 years of age. Loving husband of the late Linda (2021), whom he shared 54 years of marriage. Proud father of Camille Cecchin (Dave), Kristyn Gendreau (Elizabeth Skowby) and Todd (Jenna). Loving grandpa of Nicholas, Jacob, Everton, Parker, Kennedy, Peyton and Elle. Survived by sister Dolores Atkinson (Dale). Brother-in-law to Danny Lebert (Nancy), late Charlene, and late Barry. Dear son of the late Roy and Delphine. He will be deeply missed by his family, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Roy was a proud founder of R. Gendreau Plumbing, which he ran with his wife, Linda, for many years. Roy enjoyed spending time with his wife and family. He loved outdoor life, the French River, where they lived for 12 years after retirement. He was an avid golfer, loved boating and playing cards. Thanks to the staff at MET Hospital and the staff at Amica. A special thanks to the outstanding staff at Windsor Hospice who made his final days peaceful and comfortable.

Memorial visitation at Windsor Chapel (Banwell Chapel), 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E., 519-253-7234, on Monday, September 26, 2022, from 10 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 12 p.m. Private family graveside committal service at Windsor Memorial Gardens to follow.
