I am so saddened to read of Gerry’s death. We grew up together on Dougall Avenue and remained great friends when your family moved to York Street, just 2 blocks away. After school we went our separate ways and then met up again a few years ago at St. John Vianney Church. We had such good chats. He told me he was having questions about his Catholic faith and quit coming to mass. I missed him and was always going to call him. I am sorry I didn’t. May he Rest In Peace.
