Obituary of Lucia Bortolotto

Bortolotto, Lucia (Nee Cristin)
February 24, 1931 - September 15, 2022
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our Matriarch and beloved mother on September 15, 2022 at the age of 91 years old. Reunited with her beloved husband of 58 years Ernesto Bortolotto (2010). Devoted mother to daughters Mary-Lou Bortolotto, Sandy Muzzatti and husband David. Cherished Nonna to Alicia Kushner (Paul), Anissa Gray and Fiancé Thomas, Elizabeth and Jack Muzzatti and Bisnonna to Madeleine Kushner. 
Predeceased by her parents Luigi and Elisa  (Nee Zimolo) Cristin, her siblings Mario, Aldino, Yolanda, Ferrucio and Ines Cristin. Survived by her sister Lidia (Nee Cristin) Ceschia and her sister's in-law Irma (Late Aldo) Bortolotto, Augusta (Late Giuseppe) Quagliotto and many nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada and Italy. 
Lucia's joyful spirit was infectious. she always had a smile for whomever she met. And a gracious thank you for every act of kindness. 
Lucia's passions included cooking, baking, sewing, gardening, and dancing, especially with her beloved Ernesto. She was a 68 year member of the Italian Women's Club G. Caboto and a member of the Veneti Nel Mondo. Lucia will be greatly missed. 
Visitation at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3048 Dougall Ave. on Friday September 23, 2022 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Parish Prayers at 3:30pm. Family and friends will be received on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at St. Angela Merici Church 980 St.Louis Ave, for visitation from 10:00am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11am.
