Obituary of Francis Ducharme

DUCHARME, Francis Harry March 31, 1935-September 17, 2022 Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Pauline (nee Kavanaugh) for 57 years. Predeceased by his parents Dolphy and Mable Ducharme. Beloved father of Lynn Richmond Doug) and Laurie O’Neil (Joe). Cherished grandfather of Shaylee, Brayden, Harley, Douglas, Cameron and Logan and great grandfather of Lyla and Miles. Dear brother of Betty Boismier (the late Leonard), Patsy Danyluk (John), Ken Ducharme (Virginia), Larry Ducharme (Jean), and the late Aggie and Robert Bulmer, Don and Grace Ducharme, Doris and Louis Mascarin, Bernice and Larry Ducharme, Millie and Sonny Siemon and Jean Hebert (Francis). Dear brother in-law of Marie Kavanaugh, Jimmy Kavanaugh (Mary), Loveina Kennedy (Frank), Tom Kavanaugh (the late Marlene) and the late Inez and John McIntyre, Norma and John Brockenshire, Bobby Kavanaugh (Heather), Raymond Kavanaugh (Carmie). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Francis retired from Chrysler Canada after 39 years of dedicated service. In his retirement, he enjoyed a variety of activities, including golf, hunting and fishing, but his most treasured times were those spent with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. Friends and family are asked to meet at Good Shepherd Parish (462 Advance Blvd) on Thursday, September 22, 2022 for Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Emeryville Cemetery.
