I was so saddened to just now learn of Pat's recent passing. She was a great and true friend of my mother's when they'd worked at Electa Hall, the University of Windsor in the 1970s and 1980s. When my mother passed away in 1993, we continued to keep in contact through all the years and I will never forget our frequent phone conversations with her in those difficult times leading up to my wife's passing in 2018. What a thoughtful, caring soul she was and a true force of nature! The clump of irises she gave my mother from her garden in the 1980s still bloom each year in our yard. Her soul is now secure in God's loving care.
