Our mom was an aunt to many nieces and nephews. Friend of Mary and Jackie Marentette
Mom was a diehard Detroit Lions, Redwings and Tigers fan who never missed a game on the radio.  She was a volunteer brownie leader for many years. Our mom was a very talented musician and vocalist.  She began her music ministry in 1952 at St. Clair Church, playing the organ for morning mass.  When she moved to Riverside in 1957, she played at St. John Vianney Church until she retired in 2012.  In addition to weekly mass, our mom played for countless weddings and funerals at SJV and throughout the city.  Our mom touched so many people with her gift of music, her warm smile and her quick wit.
Our mom had great love and respect for her husband Doug and was grateful for the life they shared together.  Our mom had so much love for her siblings and their spouses.  Our mom was very proud and loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren very much.
We would like to thank mom’s neighbors on St. John Street for always looking out for her.  A big thank you to John and staff at Family Pharmacy.  A special thanks to aunt Cathy and Jean for your great care and love shown to our mother.
