Anthony Trayner was one of my very favourite little guys. I had the privilege of providing service to the Trayner family throughout Anthony’s early years. The day was always brighter when Anthony and Raven were scheduled for a visit. I remember Anthony’s
sweet temperament and endearing smile. He was always so patient and earnest with our procedures, always listening respectfully while at the same time teasing his little sister. He was a special child who grew to be a kind, gentle, loving young man.
There are no words to express my sorrow for Stephanie, Gerry and Raven. Anthony touched so many lives in so many wonderful ways. He will be remembered by all as one of the best.

There are just no words for such a loss. No sense to be made of it. The weight of your grief is terrible. We have been thinking of all of you ever since the news of Anthony’s passing reached our ears. Anthony and Gerald played baseball with Paul and our son Noah Gecelovsky when they were just kids, ten minutes ago. Rob Williams was their Coach and Paul and Gerald assisted. Paul and Noah remember both of them fondly; it was a very good year of baseball. One moment in particular brings a smile to their faces: at the beginning of each game, Paul would explain to the opposition that we had a deaf player on the team and that his dad would be coaching him in sign language and not to try shouting instructions at him. One particular game got started rather hurriedly and haphazardly and this instruction was not shared with the other team. At the end of the second inning, Paul called the coaches to the mound and said, “ I forgot to tell you: we have a deaf player on our team. This is his dad. He is coaching Anthony in sign language.” To which a coach on the opposing team replied, “Oh thank God. I thought you guys already had signals worked out and I was thinking, ‘that’s it! We’re gonna get smoked!” Everyone enjoyed a good laugh at the suggestion of our baseball prowess. Anthony was a good ball player, but he was a great kid and a great teammate and we remember the season with fondness. Our hearts break with you at the loss of so much goodness and so much potential. Our very deepest sympathy, Jackie Hudson,Paul Gecelovsky, Noah Gecelovsky

Still shedding tears at the loss of this amazing young man and so grateful for having had the opportunity to work with Anthony for a couple of summers. He was always quick to offer to help with any tasks, and always with his beautiful smile and great sense of humour. Our world was better with him in it. I wish loving strength for Stephanie, Gerry, Raven, grandparents and all who loved him as you grieve his loss and hold close your precious memories because I know he touched your lives in ways you will always cherish. It will be hard but I hope you are surrounded with much support from many who embrace you as you cope with this truly senseless loss of Anthony. I was happy to read that he had the great joy of experiencing the deep love of finding a soul mate after learning lessons of love within his family and with his fur family members and many friends. He touched many and will always be remembered.
