Obituary of Katarina Holic

HOLIC, Katarina (Kathy)

August 7, 1961- August 19, 2022

It is with great sadness, but hope, that we announce that Kathy went home peacefully to be with her Lord and Saviour, after a courageous fight, at 61 years of age, with family by her side.  Kathy will be deeply missed and always remembered by many she leaves behind; a beloved daughter and best friend to Jozef and Anna Holic, dear sister and sister-in-law to Ann and Mark Dudok, loved teta to her nieces Jenny, Stephanie and Karla (Kyle), and “great” teta to her great-nephews Cameron and Grayson. Kathy will also be missed by long time close family friend, Dr. Alberto Bautista, as well as many other extended family and friends in Canada and Europe. She is re-united with her grandma, Katarina Moric. Kathy immigrated with her family from former Yugoslavia as a child, she was a long-time member of Campbell Baptist Church, an above and beyond devoted employee of 42 years to Dr. Bautista, and the most loving and caring fur-mama to her many “kits.” Donations to Windsor Regional Cancer Centre  Click here to donate to Windsor Regional Cancer Centre and Windsor/Essex Humane Society  Click here to donate to Windsor Essex Humane Society . Funeral Visitation at Windsor Chapel, South Chapel, 3048 Dougall Ave.519-253-7234 on Thursday, August 25th from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service in the chapel on Friday, August 26th at 11 am.
