Obituary of Anne Yatscoff
YATSCOFF, Anne (Nee Senkiw)
Anne passed away peacefully on August 14, 2022 in her 96th year. She was born in Ukraine on December 15, 1926. Throughout her life, she was active in supporting her husband in various business adventures. She was a good caring mother to her children. excellent hostess, gardener and cook. More importantly, she was a devoted Catholic who helped in the church as a Eucharistic Minister, Member of Catholic Womens League and volunteered for charity event. She made time to say her rosary every night. She is predeceased by her husband George (Mar 8, 2019) whom they shared 74 wonderful years together. They were partners not only in business but in all aspects of life. She will be greatly missed by her two children, Gloria (late Bob) Jershy and Randall (Nancy)Yatscoff. She was predeceased by her parents William and Mary Senkiw and brother Morris Senkiw. Survived by her sister-in-law Vera Senkiw. She will also be missed by her grandsons and their spouses, Brent (Jennifer) Jershy and their children Zachary, Nora and Chloe; Ryan (Colleen) Jershy and their children Alana and Andrew; Michael (Emily) Yatscoff and their children Catherine, Audrey and Anna; and Christopher (Andrea) Yatscoff and their children Camryn, Mila and Jordyn. Her great joy in her later life was her 11 great-grandchildren. She took pride in remembering all their birthdates and they always brought a smile to her face. She was their great grammy Anne. We would like to thank the staff at Livingstone Tecumseh Extendicare for their compassion and service that went beyond the call of duty. We would also like to thank the caregivers at Home Instead Senior Care for their compassionate care. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519)253-7234 on Saturday August 20, 2022 from 2 to 6pm. Prayers at 4:00pm. Visitation will continue on Monday August 22, 2022 from 10:30 a.m. until time of funeral mass at 11:30a.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church (462 Advance Blvd, Tecumseh, N8N 5G8). Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society or to Coventant House.
