Obituary of Jan Pavol Taliga
TALIGA, Jan Pavol
December 7, 2006 -August 14,2022
Jan Pavol left home, left to stay with God the Father and joined God’s angels. It was Sunday when we asked what time it is, we were told 5:00 pm. Priest Luciano just left, and Jan Pavol peacefully let go support for his breathing and his bodily heart quietly stopped. He kept shining on his bed for God’s glory Jan Pavol’s life shined and keeps shining for all those he touched. It is with broken hearts that we announce our beloved son, brother, cousin, grandson, nephew and friend has become an Angel in heaven after a valiant and courageous battle with cancer at the age of 15. Beloved son of Daniela and Jan (Mama Danka & Tato Janko). The best big brother of Daniel. Cherished grandson of Maria & Pavol (Kabka & Dede) and Jozefina (Babka). Dear nephew of Majka & Slavco (Koko Mama & Koko Tata). Special Cousin of Slavko Hugo “Koko”. Jan Pavlo will be dearly missed by extended family in Slovakia and many friends at St. Anne’s French Immersion Catholic Elementary School and Assumption College Catholic High School and his beloved dog Jette. He was an altar server at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Parish which he fought and prayed to keep open, he was a dedicated soccer player and he enjoyed reading, traditional Slovak Folklore dancing, accordion playing, fishing, chess and many more activities. A special thank you to the amazing health care staff from Windsor, London and Jacksonville as well as ChildCan Foundation and Fight Like Mason, who were angels in disguise and provided us with the utmost care, compassion and support, there are no words to truly describe how thankful we are.
