Obituary of Gerarda Colaluca

COLALUCA, Gerarda (nee Tullio) Passed away peacefully on August 2, 2022 at 83 years of age. Loving wife of late Gerardo for 61 years. Dear mother of Paul, the late Maria Furj, John (Laura), Tony (Rina) and Joe (Josie). Cherished Nonna of Steve (late Adriana)(Marynes), Jeff (Nicole), Samantha, Maria (Matthew), Joe (Nana), Jenna (Mark), Daniela (Carlos), Vanessa (Joe), Jessica (Billy), Jerry (Haley), Joey (Ashley) and Bianca (Mario). Bisnonna of Avrey, Elle, Ariella, Isabelle, Siena, Alessia, Vittoria, Natalina and Easton. Sister-in-law to late Mario (Antonietta). Niece to late Loretta Farina. Special first cousin to Zia Palmerina. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Gerarda retired from IODE Windsor West Hospital after 28 years of dedicated service and was also a proud and long-time member of the Ciociaro Club and the Ciociaro Choir. Gerarda will always be remembered for her home cooking, her ability to make and mend clothing for her family and her beautiful flower garden. Above all, the devotion and love that she had for her family will never be forgotten. Family would like to give special thanks to the staff, nurses and doctors at London University Hospital and Windsor Regional Hospital - Ouellette Campus. Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel (Banwell Chapel) 519-253-7234, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Friday, August 5, 2022 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers at 4:30 p.m. Funeral Service Saturday August 6, at 8:45 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
