Kathy was crowned Detroit’s top model and hosted the Detroit and Cleveland Voyage of the Great Lakes. Her career brought her to Miami, New York, Chicago and Philadelphia. She was a two-time runner up in the Women’s Essex Golf Club Championships (1972/1999). She also won the Women’s Senior Club Championship and served as Captain twice. Kathy’s love of sports was also showcased at the Essex Ladies League for bowling and The Windsor Curling Club, where you could find her on the rink with her friends on any given sheet winning a few trophies along the way.
Kathy was a devout Catholic with strong convictions in her faith. She believes she will meet Bill in heaven and was often heard to quote her favorite pope, Pope John Paul II, “Do not be afraid.”.
