an outstanding guy, who made us cry from laughing so much while hunting. I would go home with sore cheeks and of course sore ears from his mighty duck calling.
Will be missed.

Dave was one in a million, I could write a book with all the memories I have of us, from grade school to high school, playing, riding bikes, going out and driving around to being in each others wedding parties and family events.
We would car pooled to work together even though we didn’t always work at the same places, we would just love being together, because we shared the same likes and dislikes, from food, to vehicles, to sports (not teams though) movies and some music. We would greet each other with a simple saying.. “Hey a Roos” (I know it’s weird, but that’s what we did) I remember we would do this weird noise to each other and others around (kind of like the laugh that Ogre did in the Revenge of the Nerds movie) and it would make us laugh ( and cough because he would be sucking in so much air) we would also go into to our parents fruit cellars when they weren’t around and eat all the home made sausages and peppers. God I miss him.
I remember that Dave would always want to stop at Burger King everyday after work and would get a big fish sandwich before going home to eat dinner. (When we both lived with our parents) then meet up afterwards for what ever.
When we were kids we would go to a jungle gym at a local elementary school and play tag with some other kids that were there, Dave hated having dirty socks, and would always throw them away before he went home. I remember his mother yelling at him because she always had to buy him socks because he throw them out instead of bringing home to get washed.
From school dances, to going to the gym together , to getting our hunting and firearms licences, or just sitting at one of our houses watching Ace Ventura and Dumb and dumber over and over, I can’t imagine what my life would had been like if Dave was not part of it.
I can honestly say that I consider Dave a part of my family, and I’m so happy that I was able to tell him that during our last conversation, as well as say “Hey a Roos”
I will truly miss Dave, I wish we had more time together, I would had loved to had gone to see a soccer game with him, you never realize how precious life is until something like this happens.
I’m going to miss you Dave, until we meet again, I love you.
Tammy, Parker, Hunter, and Carter, I loved seeing how happy Dave was when you were all together, he truly cherished and loved you guys.
Even though Dave is no longer with us, he is still part of my family, which makes you part of my family as well, anytime you need ANYTHING, please do not hesitate to call me, I want to keep in touch. If you guys want to talk or get together, share stories of Dave ( we have a ton of them) please let me know.
Love, Mike, Amanda and family.

My heart goes out to you Tammy and your boys as well as the entire Russo family. I will truly miss Dave, his smile and his jokes. Dave was one of a kind and and truly a great friend, husband, and dad. God has taken him under his wing and he will be your guardian angel. Remember this is not a good-bye but simply see you later as you will see him again in heaven. With love, his friend Daniel and the entire Rennert family.

Our Caboto United Family is missing you dearly and there will be a space that will never be filled. I will miss your quacking ring tone, our banter and jokes on the bench, your constant count down to hunting season and your devious smile. Although I was never sure if your smile was because you were happy or you just causing trouble. You were a true legend of your own Dave and I will miss you dearly.
