Djarmotsky, Marko

Passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at WRH - Ouellette campus at the age of 67 with his loving family by his side.

Beloved husband of Mary Katherine (Brendza) for over 36 years.

Loving father Tibor Martin.

Dear son of Zuzana and the late Ondrej (1990), brother of Jarmila Gedelja.

Loving uncle of Tina (Fonda Asprakis), Daniel Gedelja and Robert Girardin (Melissa).

Sadly missed by extended family in Canada and Yugoslavia and many members of the local Slovak and Fishing community.

He came to Canada in 1974, he was a butcher by trade in Yugoslavia and worked as a painter here in Canada. Marko was in the Slovak Dance Group for many years and enjoyed traveling throughout Canada, Florida and Europe.

Funeral Visitation at Windsor Chapel, Central Chapel, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East, 519-253-7234 on Sunday, July 10th from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service at Windsor Chapel on Monday, July 11th at 11 am. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens.
