With broken hearts we announce the passing of Romolo, a wonderful husband, father and nonno on June 23, 2022 at the age of 86. Loving husband of Maria (nee Mariani) who celebrated 63 years of marriage. Cherished and loved father of Bernie (Rose) and the late Caterina (April 15, 2013). Cherished nonno to Gabriel (Sandra Martin), Cesare Di Cesare, and Marilena Di Cesare. Dedicated son of the late Luigi and late Caterina, and his late step-mother Luigia. Dear brother of Rina (Luigi), the late Angela, Mario (Marisa), Maurizio (Rosina), Catarina (Keith), Rosanna (Silvio), Angelo, Rena (Victor), Mona, and Paolo (Lynn). Son-in-law of the late Francesco and Teresa Mariani. Dear brother-in-law of Assunta (Vincenzo) and Giuseppe (Ilde). Uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was a dedicated cook and gardener. Romolo adored his family ~ his parents, wife, children and grandchildren. He was a member of the Ciociaro Club and faithful member of Most Precious Blood Church. His unwavering good spirit will be missed by all.
Visitation at Windsor Chapel (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Monday, June 27, 2022 from 2-4 pm and 6-9 pm. Visitation to continue Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Most Precious Blood Church (1947 Meldrum Road) from 10 am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:30 am. Entombment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation - Renal Dialysis Fund.
