Obituary of Bruno Di Mambro
DI MAMBRO, Bruno
March 26, 1952-June 9, 2022
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of a loving son, husband, father and grandfather. Loving son of Antonia Di Mambro (nee Fusco) (the late Michaelangelo). Beloved husband of Ewa (nee Kawala) for 34 years. Cherished father of Lisa MacKenzie (Richard), Stephanie Di Mambro and Sara Di Mambro. Proud grandfather of Maverick MacKenzie. Dear brother of Silvana Hallett (Ray). Bruno is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends. Bruno was a kind, generous and loving man. He enjoyed bowling with the numerous leagues he was involved in and being able to catch up with his teammates. He enjoyed watching all sports including the Detroit Tigers and the Detroit Lions (even when they lost!) Some of his best memories were going to the games and enjoying a hot dog and a cold beer. He was an avid bird watcher and always talked about Robins, Blue Jays, and Cardinals, but most of all he loved his family. He was always there for love and support whether it was coming to games, helping with homework, showing up with new pets or telling a good bedtime story (but always falling asleep before he finished!) His three daughters were his little “Petunias” and when his grandson came along, he stole the show. He was a wonderful husband who always reminded Ewa how beautiful she was. We will miss his big smile, huge heart, warm hugs and always making a point to say I love you.
