Born in Ceccano, Frosinone Italy on November 17, 1954. Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Windsor Regional Hospital on May 22, 2022. Beloved husband of 41 years to Silvana. Dearest father of Peter and Stephanie. Predeceased by parents Pietro and Carolina Piroli. Loving sister to Luigina and husband Luigi Aversa. Predeceased by sister Pasqualina Bucciarelli and brother-in-law Francesco. Son-in-law to Ulderico and Maria Pia Rea. Predeceased by sister-in-law Gina Reale. Brother-in-law to Bruno. Sister-in-law to Linda Rea, brother in-law to Mario Rea (Kristina). Will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Loving nephew to Renata and Leonardo Diana. The family would like to send a special thank you to the PSW’s at St. Elizabeth Healthcare for their care and compassion, especially to Heather, Bolla, Russell, Khagendra, and Pushna. Joe owned Essex Printing Company for 40 years.

Visitation to be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel)-11677 Tecumseh Rd E. 519.253.7234, on Thursday, May 26, 2022 from 2-5 pm and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held Friday, May 27, 2022, at St. Anne’s Parish (12233 Tecumseh Rd E) at 11 a.m. Entombment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
