Obituary of Regina Elizabetta Piagno

PIAGNO, Regina Elizabetta (nee Dazzan) It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Regina, a loving Mother, Nonna and Biz-nonna on May 10, 2022 at the age of 93. Reunited with her husband Augusto (2011). Beloved mother to Roy Piagno and wife Wava, Yvette Zemora and late husband Augustin (2006). Cherished nonna to Dayna Piagno, Sara Norman (Dan), Justin Piagno, Matthew Zemora (Whitney), Kristina Zemora (Bryon), Eryn (Mickey), Daniel (2012), and biz-nonna to Dylan Norman, Baby Zemora on the way, Novah, Kaleb, Adrianna, Alysha and Kylie. Dear sister in-law to Yvonne Dazzan (Luigi) (1987) and Luiga Danelon (Pietro) (2019). Betta will be missed by many nieces and nephew in Canada, France and Italy. Betta was a devoted and loving caregiver to her husband, caring mother, proud grandmother and loving great-grandmother. She was a fantastic cook and loved her flower and vegetable garden. She was a seamstress and enjoyed knitting and crocheting as a past-time. A heartfelt sincere thank you to the doctors and nurses at WRH-Met Campus and Hotel Dieu Grace Health Care, Y. Emara for their exceptional and compassionate care provided to Regina and her family. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., 519-253-7234 on Friday May 13, 2022 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday May 14, 2022 at 9:30am at St. Angela Merici Church (980 Louis Ave. at Erie St. E.) (Friends meet directly at the Church). Entombment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens.
