Obituary of James Porter

PORTER, JAMES CHRISTOPHER JOSEPH

Jamie Porter, 38, of Windsor, ON, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 4th, 2022. Dearly loved son of Gary (Joe) and Amber Porter. Beloved brother and “brat” to Dan (Niki) Porter of Rochester, MI, Jackie (David) Montgomery of Vancouver, BC, Carol (Frank) Porter of Windsor, and Amanda Porter of Belle River. Loving uncle to Nicole, Dean, and Lucas Lopetrone, and Alexa and Amelia Porter. Reunited with his longtime friend Julie Desbiens. He will be missed and lovingly remembered by many Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends.

Jamie loved life and made friends with everyone he met. He was a goalie in the Wheelchair Hockey League for many years, moderated numerous Twitch channels, and was a lifelong Maple Leafs fan. He could always be counted on to share an Armando’s Pizza,and would chat online, well into the middle of the night, with family and friends. He was an inspiration to all of us who knew and loved him and will be desperately missed.

Funeral Visitation at Windsor Chapel, Banwell Chapel, 519-253-7234, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. East on Friday, May 6th 5-8 pm. Funeral Service at the funeral home on Saturday, May 7th at 10 am. Cremation to follow.
