Passed away on April 23, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Earl Marentette, having shared 52 years of marriage. Loving mother of Linda and Steve Maika , the late Larry (1952) , Earl Marentette(2009), and the late Denise (Tousignant) (2013). Loving daughter of the late George and Edith (Nicholson)Spark. Loving grandmother of Sheryl and Matthew Parent, Edith -Mae Lichtherte and Brad Gervais, Laurie and Kathy Maika, Matthew and Catherine, David and Alexandra Marentette , Monica and Taylor Benoit. Great grandmother of Victoria, Emma, Brianne, Riley, Florence,Charlie,Calvin and Lia. Loving sister of Jean(Spark)and George Anderson and Florence, (Spark) and the late Leslie Jordan, Veva (Griffith) and the late Alvan Spark,the late Ross and Laurene (Gardiner)Spark , late Bruce and Shirley Spark.

Helen worked at Metropolitan Hospital and Hotel Dieu Hospital as well as at Gerry's and Phil's flower shop in Tecumseh and at the Sears store. Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel (Banwell location) 11677 Tecumseh rd. East (519) 253-7234 on Friday April 29th, 2022 from 1p.m.-3p.m. Prayer service will take place at 3 p.m. Cremation to follow.
