With great sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of our father and Pepe, on his own terms, at Tilbury Manor Long-Term Care Home, on April 18, 2022, in his 81st year.  Reunited with his loving wife, Collette (nee Hamelin), and his parents Ernest and Lorraine Bellemore (nee Lafreniere) of St. Joachim. He will be greatly missed by his children, Jeannette Lapierre (Dean), Suzette Bellemore (Dave Murdoch) and Paul Bellemore (Martina).  Loving Pepe to his 6 grandchildren, Joshawa Bellemore, Keesha Hodgins (Dave), Danielle Elsbrie (Chris McTavish), Domonique Elsbrie, Colby and Cameron Bellemore, and his 10 great grandchildren, Peyton, Melanie, Madison, Mackenzie, Jaxon, AJ, Ryder, Kaden and Ryan.  Eugene will be dearly remembered by his surviving siblings, Louis Bellemore (late Bridgette), Rene Bellemore (Millie Nussey), Leah Renaud (Don) and Aline Lanoue (Vince).  Reunited with his siblings, Cecile Lenuik (late Mike), Angela Dupuis (late Edgar), Mary Jane Hamlin (late Joe), Rita Pare (late Don), Annette Marchand (Marcel L.).  Born and raised on French Line in St. Joachim, Eugene loved riding around the city on his e-bike and enjoyed tinkering with small engines.  He retired from Chrysler after working there for over 30 years.  In his final days, Eugene showed tremendous strength and courage, without complaint.  A sincere thank you to all the genuinely thoughtful and compassionate care workers at Tilbury Manor who were so gentle and attentive during his final days. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association in Eugene’s name.
Funeral Visitation at Windsor Chapel, Banwell Chapel,  11677 Tecumseh Rd. East, 519-253-7234 on Thursday, April 21,2022 from 2-5 and 7-9 pm.  Funeral Mass at Ste. Anne's Parish 12233 Tecumseh Rd.
