Obituary of Virginia De Rose

De Rose (nee Coscarella), Virginia

Passed away peacefully into the arms of the Lord, at 93 years of age on April 14, 2022 .

Beloved wife of the late Antonio "Tony" (2015).

Dear Mother of Dr. Gaetano De Rose and wife Jan (nee Sheridan) of London, Ontario and Dr. Robert De Rose and wife Linda (nee Borrelli) of Windsor, Ontario.

Special Nonna of Graham De Rose (Ashley), Karen Seedhouse (Jeffrey), Dr. Lauren De Rose, Dr. Lisa De Rose and Dr. Jessica De Rose. Great Nonna of William, Matthew, Annabeth and James. Cherished sister of the late Gennaro Coscarella (late Maria), the late Antonio Coscarella (Shirley), the late Giovanna Belsito (late Ippolito) and Emma Stella (late Serafino). Sister in law to the late Salvatore De Rose (Lina) and the late Giulia Spadafora (late Michele).

Also survived and greatly missed by many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Virginia enjoyed celebrating life with her friends, family and getting together over great food and drink. Virginia was a devoted and faithful parishoner of St. Angela Merici Church and a founding member of the St. Ippolito Society of Windsor. She had many passions in life, she loved to cook, bake, garden and play bingo, but, her number one passion was her love for her family and relishing in their success. The family would like to thank Dr. Steve Rukavina and the staff at Extendicare Tecumseh for their care and support during her stay.

Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Banwell Chapel) 519-253-7234 11677 Tecumseh Rd. East on Thursday, April 21 from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Parish prayers at 4:30 pm. Funeral Services will take place on Friday, April 22 at 8:45 a.m. leaving from the Funeral Home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
