Obituary of Giuseppe 'Joe' Tridico
TRIDICO, Joe
It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Giuseppe Tridico on March 24, 2022 at the age of 91. Our father was born in Pietrapaola, Cosenza, Italy on December 10, 1930. He immigrated to Canada in 1957 where he met his wife Rosina and had 2 boys whom he dedicated his life to provide the best childhood possible. His greatest pleasure was to write poems in Italian and wrote over 500 of them, dealing with all facets of his life. He absolutely loved his gazebo, where he spent many hours writing his poems and enjoying music and playing cards with his brother and friends, while also protecting his fig tree from the birds!
Giuseppe will be remembered by his wife Rosina, his two sons Francesco (Tamar), Vincenzo (Julie), 3 grandchildren Nigel, Francesco and Avery. Great grandchildren Carmine (previously deceased) and Sofia. Along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family would like to express deep gratitude to the hospital staff and friends for every kind consideration towards the Tridico family.
